The Sound of Simsimiya Music
Keep an ear out for the very Simsimiyya music; a traditional plucked lyre used in Egypt, Jordan and Yemen and mostly used by Bedouins as a social instrument. Music is everyone as you wander through the center of Aqaba and souk which comes accompanied by live music, food, and colourful handicrafts.
